United Malayan Flour (1996) Sdn. Bhd. (UMF) was incorporated in 1961, with principal activities in the production and distribution of wheat flour, food products and other raw commodities throughout Malaysia and the region. 

As one of the pioneer flour mill in Malaysia, UMF is synonymous with providing high-quality flour, backed by strong technical know-how and service standards to best meet the diverse needs of every customer.

UMF has a longstanding and trusted relationship with our customers, many of whom have been long valued partners since our establishment. We are home to over ten much loved household flour brands, and also provide customised pre-mixing facilities to cater to the unique requirements of our customers.

It is no wonder that we serve a wide clientele base from small-medium enterprises to large-scale multinational manufactures through an extensive distribution network that spans Peninsular and East Malaysia, as well as Singapore and Thailand. 

In an industry that is highly susceptible to market forces and commodity volatility, UMF believes in the importance of diversification through our subsidiaries in food products, property, warehousing and distribution. Aside from our core business in wheat flour, we also supply bran and pollard by-products to local feed mills and poultry farms, ensuring that nothing goes to waste.
