Butter Cookies Recipe

Butter Cookies Ingredients:
150g Cap Kompang
½ tsp baking powder
125g butter
100g icing sugar
1 egg yolk
1 tsp vanilla essence



Method:

  1. Preheat over to 180°C.
  2. Mix sifted flour and baking powder together.
  3. Beat butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Mix in egg yolk and vanilla essence.
  4. Add in sifted flour into mixture to form soft dough.
  5. Put dough into a cookie press and press shapes out onto greased baking sheets and bake in the preheated oven for 12 to 15 minutes or until light and golden brown.
  6. Allow to cool on the baking tray for 5 minutes before placing the cookies onto a wire rack to cool completely.
