Chocolate Chip Cookies Recipe

Crunchy Honey Oatmeal Cookies Ingredients:
280g Cap Kompang
½ tsp baking powder
1/8 tsp salt
180g castor sugar
175g butter
2 eggs
1 tsp vanilla essence
25g cocoa powder
1 packet semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 cup pecan nuts, coarsely chopped


Method:

  1. Lightly grease baking trays.
  2. Preheat oven to 180°C.
  3. Mix sifted flour, baking powder and salt together.
  4. Cream butter, sugar, and vanilla essence until light and creamy. Beat in eggs gradually.
  5. Add in flour mixture, cocoa powder, chocolate chips, and pecan nuts into butter mixture and mix well.
  6. Roll out dough to 4mm thickness and cut with a floured fluted cutter. Place cut out dough onto greased trays.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 15 to 20 minutes.
  8. Allow to cool on the baking tray for 5 minutes before placing the cookies onto a wire rack to cool completely.
