Orange Cake Recipe

Orange Cake Ingredients:
275g Cap Kompang
1 tsp baking power
175g butter
175g castor sugar
3 eggs
3 tsp Grated orange rind

Orange mixture:

100ml milk
125ml orange juice
1 tsp lemon juice
1 tsp vanilla essence


  1. Grease the sides of a 23 cm round or square cake tin and line the base with non-stick parchment paper.
  2. Pre heat oven to 180°C.
  3. Mix sifted flour and baking powder together.
  4. Mix butter and sugar and beat until creamy, light, and fluffy. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Add in orange rind.
  5. Add in flour mixture, alternating with the combined orange mixture. Pour mixture into prepared tin and bake in the preheated oven for one hour or until inside of cake is dry.
  6. Cool cake in the baking tin for 5 minutes before removing.
